Ratan Tata and Nandan Nilekani to set up microfinance firm, Avanti Finance.
I hope they set up branches all over, particularly rural areas, to extend loans to agricultural and other rural entrepreneurs in need. It will create employment in rural areas and stop the large scale migrations of rural poor to urban areas.
A great project for two great Indians to come together.
